DONATE

We believe that when we work together great things can happen. Together, we can support our students in building brighter futures by creating scholarships and bursaries to help them manage the cost of post-secondary education.

We are very grateful for the generosity of our donors:

1. New Bus Fundraiser

Local High School Bus Fundraiser Nears Milestone, with 70% of Funds Raised

The 4Northern Foundation is thrilled to announce that its ambitious bus fundraiser has successfully secured 70% of its funding goal. This significant milestone brings the school one step closer to achieving the project’s ultimate aim: acquiring a new, eco-friendly bus to better serve our local students.

Since the launch of the fundraiser on February 1st of this year, the initiative has garnered widespread support from residents, businesses, and local organizations. Contributions have poured in through various channels, including online donations, fundraising events, and corporate sponsorships. The overwhelming generosity of the community underscores a shared commitment to enhancing local transportation and fostering connectivity.

“Our progress so far is a testament to the strength and spirit of our community,” said Rob Tuer, President of 4Northern Foundation, a charitable organization to help support the students at Northern High School in Sarnia. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received. It’s exciting to see how close we are to our goal, and it motivates us to push forward with even greater determination.”

The proposed new bus will feature state-of-the-art environmental technology, designed to reduce carbon emissions and provide a more efficient, reliable service for our students at Northern High School. It will also enhance accessibility for those with special needs and support many students by improving their school experience.

With 30% of the funds still needed, 4Northern is calling on community members and local businesses to help bridge the gap. We are just shy of $35,000. Donations can be made on this page, as well as the GoFundMe page. Various sponsorship opportunities are available for those looking to make a more substantial impact.
